City townhouses granted planning permission
May 27th, 2022
We have just received planning permission for a pair of townhouses behind a Georgian square in Dublin City centre next to a block of twentieth century flats. The houses establish a new order in the street that will be gradually filled in. Setbacks and entrances respond to existing features. Dublin Civic Trust commended the scheme commenting – “This is a welcome and well considered residential mews scheme planned for immediately off Mountjoy Square, establishing a high standard design formula. It stands in marked contrast to a deluge of lowest common denominator mews applications in the vicinity of late. Bravo!”
