Killiney House Granted Planning

Our new house on Seafield Road, Killiney has been granted planning permission. The site’s zoning is 0/0 in the Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Development Plan which means that no development is normally permitted with possible exceptions allowed for outstanding design quality. The site was further constrained by below ground services and an adjacent railway embankment that led us to a long thin house that reaches high to see over the railway and offer a views of Killiney Bay. The application received permission on the basis of its “contemporary aesthetic and high quality design” according to the planning report.
