Mariner’s Mews wins Planning Appeal
March 10th, 2016
Our design for a contemporary mews house in the Dún Laoghaire Haigh Terrace Conservation area has won an appeal at An Bórd Pleanala. Following a successful planning application to DLR County Council, the decision was appealed by a third party. An Bórd Pleanala upheld the permission and commented that the design met all of the planning criteria applicable in this difficult site. The Bórd additionally commented that the high-quality contemporary design of the new mews will enhance the character of the Architectural Conservation Area. We have begun our detailed design work and plan to bring this project to construction stage over the next few months.
