
Open House wins AAI Award 2015

Open House was one of five winners of the Architectural Association of Ireland (AAI) Awards 2015 for excellence in architecture, it was announced today. The intention of the AAI Awards is to encourage higher standards of architecture throughout the country, to recognise projects which make a contribution to Irish architecture, and to inform the public of emerging directions in contemporary architecture. The jury included Oliver Wainwright – architecture critic with the Guardian newspaper (UK), Amelia Stein photographer (IRL), Kevin Carmody architect (UK), Ian McKnight architect (UK), and Sarah Cremin architect (IRL). An exhibition of the awards is open to the public at the City Assembly Rooms, 58 South William Street, Dublin 2. See www.architecturalassociation.ie for details and times.
