Viewfinders Public Art Commission Opens

Viewfinders 125

Viewfinders is a project commissioned by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Arts Office as part of the INTER/GNERATION celebration of Architecture  and Supported by the Arts Council Engaging With Architecture Scheme. The three viewfinder structures are positioned to frame contemporary views from Killiney Hill alongside digital reproductions of historic prints of the same views so that people can see how these have changed over time. The changes made to the topography by the original painters to suit aesthetic taste are also apparent. The Viewfinders will remain in place for two weeks over the Easter holidays.
