Nose to The Ground is a one day colloquium at Queen’s University Belfast in association with Arup to provoke discussion, awareness, and hopefully understanding, as to the potential of design and creative thinking to contribute to the development of our society inspired by the life and work of the great Irish engineer Peter Rice. John McLaughlin will contribute to a discussion on the topic of Design and Value alongside other practitioners, commentators, commissioning agencies, educationalists, and policy makers.
